Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an experienced Environment & Sustainability Manager to support Heathrow capital works, delivering environmental, carbon and sustainability leadership across airside and landside assets.

The role leads EMS implementation, carbon reduction, energy management and biodiversity plans, working with project teams, Heathrow stakeholders and supply chain partners to embed requirements from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in environmental and sustainability management in construction or major projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and EMS implementation.
• Experience in ISO 14001 / ISO 50001 and PAS 2080 is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental and sustainability management across Heathrow projects and ensure contractual and legal compliance.
• Develop EMPs, SWMPs, carbon/energy plans and biodiversity management, embedding them into design and construction.
• Provide leadership and technical support to project teams and suppliers, track KPIs and drive improvements.
