Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking an Environment & Sustainability Manager to lead environmental strategy for Heathrow-based projects. You will drive EMS implementation, carbon reduction and sustainability across airside and landside works, coordinating with managers, designers and suppliers to embed standards from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental management, sustainability, or related discipline.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure projects preferable.
• Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and EMS (ISO 14001).
• Leadership skills and ability to influence site teams and management.
• Membership of CIWEM/CIWM is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental and sustainability management across Heathrow projects.
• Develop EMPs, SWMPs, carbon and energy management plans.
• Embed carbon reduction, resource efficiency and procurement controls.
• Provide technical guidance to project managers, teams and suppliers.
• Coordinate environmental permits, licences and compliance activities.
• Monitor KPIs on waste, emissions, energy, water and biodiversity.
• Report to Heathrow and Ferrovial senior management with data and insights.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned.
