Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant to lead environmental inputs for EIA projects. The role involves managing screening, scoping, and Environmental Statements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high-quality deliverables across multiple project stages.

The candidate should have a strong background in environmental assessment, with Chartered Environmentalist status preferred, and be willing to travel across projects regionally.

Qualifications

• Degree in an environmental discipline, preferably at Masters level.
• Chartered Environmentalist status would be advantageous.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide Expertise: manage environmental inputs to EIA screening, scoping, Environmental Statements and related documents across project life cycles.
• Ensure Quality: deliverables to high quality and compliant with quality procedures.
• Project Management: plan and manage resources and budgets for projects.
• Collaborate: work within integrated design teams to improve environmental outcomes.
• Client Contact: manage client relationships and internal teams.
• Growth: identify and lead business development opportunities and fee proposals.
