Job summary

A leading defence consultancy is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to lead and contribute to the implementation of DevSecOps processes and tooling. You will be responsible for technical delivery and assurance of DevSecOps tooling, collaborating closely with teams to ensure alignment with business and security objectives. Ideal candidates should have significant experience with CI/CD pipelines and various DevSecOps technologies. Willingness to undergo high-level UK security clearance is required.

• Experience working in an Agile environment with teams.
• Willingness to undergo a high level of UK security clearance.

Sanderson are currently looking to hire a Lead DevSecOps Engineer for a long-term client of ours. The role will be leading and contributing to the technical delivery of the DevSecOps processes, pipelines and integrated security tooling.

Your role will involve

• Responsible for the technical implementation, delivery and assurance of the DevSecOps tooling, associated processes and ways of working.
• Leading Technical Implementation and design activities, making Design decisions and assessing options.
• Advising on use of DevSecOps technologies and processes
• Works with DevSecOps Tech Lead, Product Owners and Scrum Master to define/prioritise work and raise Risks/Dependencies.
• Works with DevSecOps Tech Lead to ensure the DevSecOps implementation satisfies its requirements and ensuring it aligns to the Business Outcomes and security needs.
• Defines Support Approach working with Service/Support Team.

Significant experience in the Implementation / Configuration / Usage in several of the following:
