Job Description:

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial metrics such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.

  • Be a proactive problem solver, capable of making quick decisions and thinking on your feet.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support your team.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate your team.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
