Main duties of the job

Provide advanced clinical pharmacy input through ward rounds,clinics and multidisciplinary meetings.

Act as a source of specialist advice on medicines use tomedical, nursing and other healthcare professionals.

Participatein consultant ward rounds, clinics and MDT meetings as appropriate.

Supportdispensary services through clinical screening, checking and problem solving asrequired.

Undertakedetailed prescription review, optimise therapy, and ensure safe, effective andeconomical medicines use.

Qualifications
  • Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or UK recognised equivalent.
Experience
  • NHS experience is Essential including Clinical Pharmacy experience at ward level.
