Job summary

Acorn Group is seeking a Lead Auditor for our Claims Governance team. Based in Sevenoaks or Liverpool with hybrid working, you will oversee the quality and regulatory compliance of claims operations by leading a team of Claims Auditors and executing the audit plan.

You will mentor staff, identify systemic errors and leakage, and report findings to senior management. The role reports to the Claims Audit Controller and requires strong leadership and motor-claims knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading audit teams.
• Experience in claims governance and motor claims.
• Strong ability to produce clear audit findings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and evaluate the claims audit team, ensuring timely production of findings and reports.
• Conduct regular calibration within the team to ensure consistency.
• Conduct performance evaluations, regular 121s and all aspects of people management.
