Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician in Newcastle. The successful candidate will service and maintain a diverse fleet, diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, and perform MOT testing if qualified.

We offer a structured training programme leading toward Master Technician level, a £1,500 sign-on bonus, and overtime at 1.25x pay. A full UK driving licence and a valid Level 3 qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 qualification (NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults and carry out repairs.
• MOT testing duties if qualified; carry out warranty work as per brand parameters.

Salary – Up to £36,730 Basic + 1.5k sign on bonus + Overtime at 1.25x Pay (Up to £20.77ph Overtime Rate) DOE & Qualifications
