Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd in Wigan is seeking an experienced LCV Technician to service and repair vans, with level 3 qualification and a full UK driving license. The role offers progression opportunities within a leading vehicle rental specialist.

You will undertake electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, MOT duties if qualified, and participate in a structured 5-stage training programme leading to Master Technician level. Salary up to £36,730 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ, IMI, City and Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Proof of certificate required before starting.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work where applicable.
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties if qualified.
