Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced LCV Technician in Stockton-on-Tees to service vans. You should be level 3 qualified and hold a Full UK driving licence.

Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 42.5 hours, no weekends, with a competitive package including a £36,730 basic salary, £1,500 sign-on bonus and overtime. The role involves servicing, diagnostics, electrical and hydraulic fault repair, and potential MOT duties if qualified.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 qualification.
• Proof of certificate required before interview.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

LCV Technician Role

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

LCV Technician Requirements

• Must have a minimum of NVQ, IMI, City and Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent)
• Must have proof of certificate as they will be requested & needed before interviewing
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
