Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced LCV Technician for a vacancy in Wallasey. You will carry out servicing and maintenance on vans, diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, and perform MOT testing duties if qualified.

The role offers a basic salary up to £46,000 plus bonus and overtime, with a Monday–Friday pattern and Saturday mornings on a rota. New entrants with the right drive can progress with in-house training and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence and the relevant NVQ/IMI/City and Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Level 3 qualification is preferred, but Level 2 with van experience will be considered.
• Previous experience working on vans is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, including warranty work.
• Undertake MOT testing duties if qualified.

LCV Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

LCV Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• You need a minimum of a NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds level 2 or equivalent. Ideally you will be level 3 qualified but if youre a level 2 with experience working on vans definitely apply!
• Previous experience in working on vans is needed
