Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd in Wigan is seeking an experienced LCV Technician to service and repair light commercial vehicles. The role requires Level 3 qualification and a full UK driving licence, with the opportunity to progress through a structured 5-stage training programme.

The package includes a basic salary up to £36,730, a £1,500 sign-on bonus, and overtime at 1.25x, plus life assurance and birthday day off.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Must provide proof of certificate before starting.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience servicing and maintaining light commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.
