Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a client in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs of light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Qualifications include NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. The position offers an hourly rate between £20 and £25, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm.

Qualifications

Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to work for our client who are in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of light commercial vehicles (vans)
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out inspections, MOT preparation, and general repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within set timescales
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)

Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm

Pay

You will earn an hourly rate between £20 - £25 per hour
