Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Senior Course Officer to support the Course Operations Manager and lead key projects and events across the academic year. The role sits in the City Law School's postgraduate and professional programmes team in London.

The successful candidate will have a first degree or equivalent experience, with higher education course administration and line management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education in course/programme administration.
• Line management experience.
• Experience working in a busy customer-focused office environment.
• Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident in the use of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Staff leadership and supervision of the Course Office team for PG and Professional Programmes.
• Management of student feedback processes (e.g. module evaluation and course representative meetings).
• Coordination and supervision of key events/projects (e.g. working with Heads of Department on teaching responsibilities).
• Coordination across programmes and schools to supervise significant periods (induction, timetabling, staffing, resourcing).
• Student/Faculty support (advice and support to students and academic staff).
