The Role

To provide an efficient and effective service to customers within Dumfries & Galloway, Ayrshire and NHS Lanarkshire areas, through training and development of staff by maintaining ISO standard of quality.

What we'll need you to bring

Post holder required to have 5 years experience within laundry/sewing room setting.

a) Skills:

  • Previous line management experience required gained over a number of years.
  • Knowledge of laundry equipment/laundry/sewing room/chemicals.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety issues.
  • Sound organisational skills – preferably gained within production line setting.
  • Knowledge of PC

b) Machines and Equipment Used:

  • 16 different types of microprocessor controlled equipment for washing, finishing and storing laundry.
  • PC – work on a daily basis is printed off from PC and each section is advised of daily targets.

This role will be based in PSSD within West of Scotland Laundry.

The working pattern for this role would be discussed during the interview.
