Job summary

Village Sheffield is seeking a heavyweight General Manager to lead our new flagship property with autonomy and passion. You will own the P&L, drive EBITDA and revenue targets, and shape a culture focused on guest excellence and team engagement.

The role requires a highly commercial leader with emotional intelligence, capable of mentoring Heads of Department and building a standout local network to make the Sheffield hotel a Village flagship.

Qualifications

• Highly commercial, emotionally intelligent General Manager with a track record in leading large hospitality teams.
• Operational pedigree to run a multi-faceted venue.
• Experience running P&L and driving EBITDA and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• The Commercial Drive: Owning the P&L, delivering strategy, hitting EBITDA and revenue targets, managing payroll, driving on-site sales.
• The Cultural Leadership: Building an intensely engaged, motivated team and mentoring Heads of Department.
• The Brand Excellence: Upholding brand standards and maintaining high performance on safety, compliance and guest experience.
• The Local Network: Networking with local businesses to position the venue as a premier local hotspot.
