Job summary

Village Hotels seeks a General Manager to lead our new flagship Sheffield property with a strong commercial mindset and people-first leadership. You will own the P&L, drive the group strategy, and elevate guest experience across all outlets, including Pub & Grill, V Works, and Leisure Club.

We require a heavyweight hospitality leader who is fiercely commercial, passionate about people, and ready to embrace the Village culture.

Responsibilities

• The Commercial Drive: Owning the P&L, delivering the group strategy and budgeted EBITDA, carefully managing payroll, and driving sales across all departments.
• The Cultural Leadership: Build a highly engaged, motivated team; mentor Heads of Department and promote talent internally.
• The Brand Excellence: Enforce brand standards and drive excellence across health & safety and compliance metrics.
• The Local Network: Forge strong relationships with Sheffield community and local businesses to position the hotel as a local hotspot.
