Job summary

MARS Recruitment is helping Mars fill a hands-on Laser Applications Engineer role in Didcot. The successful candidate will develop laser micromachining processes and run production work on state-of-the-art laser systems. A good degree in Lasers/Optical Engineering/Physics or Engineering with practical experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Lasers/Optical Engineering/Physics/Engineering with practical experience.
• Hands-on laser applications and micromachining exposure is advantageous.
• Understanding of laser systems, materials science, metrology or optics.

Responsibilities

• Develop laser micromachining processes for customers.
• Run production work on state-of-the-art laser systems.
• Work with laboratory team on test and integration tasks.
