Job summary

Orwell Housing Association is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor on a fixed-term maternity cover to lead learning initiatives for over 700 colleagues, developing, performing and thriving. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will drive the Learning & Development Strategy and maximise Apprenticeship Levy opportunities.

You will design blended learning programmes, manage the Orwell Academy, LMS and HRIS L&D module, and partner with leaders to identify learning needs and career

Qualifications

• CIPD L&D qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
• Experience with LMS platforms (iTrent, Docebo) is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and programme design skills.
• Passion for inclusive learning culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver blended learning programmes.
• Lead onboarding, induction, leadership, coaching and mentoring.
• Manage the Orwell Academy, LMS and HRIS L&D module.
• Ensure high mandatory training compliance.
• Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and career pathways.
• Support apprenticeship programmes and maximise levy funding.
• Use data to measure learning effectiveness and drive improvement.
