Job summary

Orwell Housing Association is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join the People & Culture team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. You will lead the Learning & Development Strategy, develop the Orwell Academy, and drive mandatory training compliance for over 700 colleagues.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will design blended learning programmes, manage LMS/HRIS modules and maximise levy funding, shaping career pathways and talent

Qualifications

• CIPD Learning & Development qualification (or extensive related work experience).
• Proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, Organisational Development or Talent Development.
• Experience delivering learning solutions through learning technologies and LMS platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, coaching, facilitation and programme design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver blended learning programmes (digital, virtual and face-to-face).
• Lead onboarding, induction, leadership, coaching and mentoring initiatives.
• Manage and develop the Orwell Academy, LMS and HRIS L&D module.
• Ensure high mandatory training compliance.
• Partner with leaders to identify learning needs, career pathways and talent development.
• Support apprenticeship programmes and maximise levy funding.
• Use data and insight to measure learning effectiveness and drive improvement.
