Job summary

Orwell Housing Association is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Advisor on a fixed-term maternity cover. You will lead the Learning & Development Strategy, drive the Orwell Academy, and maximise Apprenticeship Levy opportunities while ensuring mandatory training compliance across 700+ colleagues.

You’ll design blended learning, onboard leaders, manage LMS/iTrent/Docebo tools, and partner with leaders to shape career pathways and talent development initiatives.

Qualifications

• CIPD L&D qualification or extensive related work experience.
• Experience in Learning & Development, Training, Organisational Development or Talent Development.
• Experience delivering learning solutions through LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver blended learning programmes including digital, virtual and face-to-face learning.
• Lead onboarding, induction, leadership, coaching and mentoring initiatives.
• Manage the Orwell Academy, LMS and HRIS L&D module.
• Ensure high mandatory training compliance.
• Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and career pathways.
• Support apprenticeship programmes and maximise levy funding.
• Use data to measure learning effectiveness and drive improvement.
