Job summary

Monarch Education is assisting a friendly mainstream primary school in Kingswood, Bristol to recruit a caring Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This full-time, 1:1 KS2 SEND support role offers daily involvement with a pupil awaiting an EHCP, working with the teacher, SENCo and family to shape support from the start.

About the Role

This is a full-time, long-term position supporting a pupil in a Key Stage 2 classroom on a 1:1 basis.

The pupil is currently undiagnosed and awaiting an EHCP, so you’ll play a key role in helping shape the support they receive from the very beginning. This is a rewarding position where patience, creativity, and adaptability will make a real difference.

You’ll be helping the child to feel safe, engaged, and confident in the classroom, supporting both their learning and emotional wellbeing.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing consistent 1:1 support within the classroom
