Job summary

Long Term Futures are recruiting two dedicated Behaviour Mentors to join a welcoming primary school in Northfield, Birmingham (B31), from September 2026. These full-time positions involve supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD and behavioural challenges.

You will provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, deliver interventions to promote emotional regulation and social skills, and work with the SENCO and teachers to implement behaviour plans.

Qualifications

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to KS2 pupils.
  • Deliver interventions focused on emotional regulation and social skills.
  • Integrate with SENCO and external professionals to implement plans.
  • Support transitions, playtimes, and outdoor learning.

Responsibilities

  • Assess pupil needs and monitor progress.
  • Maintain positive behavioural support strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents.
  • Support pupils inside and outside the classroom to maximise engagement.
  • Assist with transitions and structured interventions.
