Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a KS1 Primary Teacher with QTS for regular supply work at a welcoming primary school in Newark, NG24. For the right teacher, this could lead to a long-term placement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum.

• Support early reading, writing and mathematics.
• Adapt teaching to pupils’ abilities and learning needs.
• Create a nurturing classroom with consistent routines.

Successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:

• Secure knowledge of phonics and early learning.
• A warm, patient approach and effective behaviour management.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
