Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a committed Primary Teacher for regular supply work across lovely primary schools in Newark and the NG24 area.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, follow plans, support pupils with SEND, maintain a positive classroom, and provide feedback to the class teacher. An Enhanced DBS and QTS are required.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Strong knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• Confident classroom and behaviour management
• Caring, enthusiastic approach and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication, reliability and flexibility
• Enhanced DBS registered with Update Service

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt activities to meet pupils’ needs.
• Maintain a positive classroom with clear expectations.
• Support pupils with SEND within mainstream classrooms.
• Provide useful feedback to the class teacher.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and policies.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:
