Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a motivated Primary Teacher for day-to-day supply or long-term roles in a Bradford primary school. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1, support phonics and guided reading, and maintain strong classroom management to drive pupil progress.

The role requires QTS (ECTs welcome), a solid understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, and a proactive, adaptable teaching style. Immediate start available with flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £140 - 170 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher. The school provides a primary education setting where the successful applicant will support children's learning and development across Key Stage 1 / KS1.

The school is looking to take on a motivated Primary Teacher for day-to-day supply or long-term teaching opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, supporting phonics and guided reading sessions, maintaining effective classroom management and ensuring pupils make progress in their learning.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1 in a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, including phonics and guided reading
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
