Job summary

Teacher Active is recruiting passionate KS1 Primary Teachers to work across Newark and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with immediate starts available.

QTS or QTLS (ECTs welcome) and UK primary school experience are required, with strong KS1 knowledge and confident behaviour management. Flexible schedules allow you to tailor your availability.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Experience working in UK primary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Experience teaching Year 1 and/or Year 2.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 in Newark and surrounding areas.
• Carefully manage behaviour and adapt to school policies.
• Collaborate with supply consultants to align with school needs.
• Demonstrate flexibility for day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.
