Village Hotels is seeking a Sous Chef and Kitchen Team Leader to anchor the shift, owning your section while supporting the broader brigade to ensure every plate meets our standards for quality, temp and presentation.

You’ll drive food safety, manage stock to par levels, coach junior kitchen staff, and keep paperwork up to date for monthly stock takes.

Qualifications

• Experience running a kitchen section and leading a team.
• Strong focus on food safety, brand delivery, and HACCP/EHO compliance.
• Ability to coach junior kitchen staff and KPs.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section as hands-on Sous Chef while guiding the wider flow of work.
• Ensure deliveries are temperature-checked, dishes meet FRESH specifications, and HACCP/EHO compliance is maintained.
• Supervise and coach junior kitchen team members and KPs.
• Manage stock to par levels and keep paperwork up to date for monthly stock takes.
