Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Team Leader and Chef de Partie to bridge the Head Chef's strategy with a busy service. You will own your section, run a tight kitchen, monitor portions, and support the wider brigade to ensure every plate meets our exact standards for quality, temperature and presentation.

You will drive food safety, HACCP and EHO compliance, manage stock to par levels, minimise waste, and coach junior team members.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CDP with ownership of a section in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to coach junior kitchen team members and porters.
• Strong focus on food safety, HACCP and EHO compliance.

Responsibilities

• The Kitchen Floor: Run your own section flawlessly and support others when needed.
• The Standards: Ensure temperature checks and brand delivery meet FRESH specs.
• The Brigade: Supervise and coach junior staff while maintaining safety around equipment.
• The Commercial Reality: Manage stock to par levels and keep stock paperwork up to date.
