Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and Chef de Partie to lead a busy section and support the brigade on a fast-paced service. You will own your station, ensure quality, temperature, and presentation across dishes, and work closely with the Head Chef to deliver brand standards.

You will mentor junior kitchen staff, manage stock and paperwork for monthly stock takes, and uphold HACCP requirements while controlling wastage and costs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Team Leader and Chef de Partie (CDP)
• Ability to manage a section and support the brigade
• Strong focus on quality, temperature, and presentation of dishes
• Knowledge of HACCP and restaurant brand standards (implied)

Responsibilities

• Operate as hands-on Chef de Partie and run your own section
• Control workflow, monitor portions, and assist other chefs during busy periods
• Drive food safety and brand delivery, ensure correct temperatures and standards
• Supervise and coach junior kitchen team members and Kitchen Porters
• Manage stock to par levels and maintain stock records for monthly takes
