Village Hotels - Bristol is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef and Kitchen Team Leader to drive the shift, own your section, and support the wider brigade, ensuring every plate leaving the pass meets our exact standards for quality, temperature, and presentation.

You will lead the kitchen floor, uphold food safety and brand delivery, supervise junior team members, manage stock to par levels, and keep necessary paperwork up to date for the monthly stock take, all within Village’s collaborative,

Responsibilities

• Operating as a hands-on Sous Chef and leading your own section while supporting the wider brigade to maintain smooth service.
• Driving an obsession with food safety, brand delivery, and HACCP/EHO standards to ensure every dish meets specifications.
• Supervising and coaching junior kitchen team members and kitchen porters, translating strategy into practical action on the pass.
• Managing stock to par levels, minimising waste, and ensuring paperwork is up to date for monthly stock takes.
