Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and CDP to act as the engine of the shift, owning your section while supporting the wider brigade and ensuring every plate meets our standards for quality, temperature and presentation.

You will drive food safety, manage stock to par levels, coach junior staff, and protect gross profit, all while maintaining the fast pace of a busy service. A hands-on leader with energy and a can-do attitude will fit in.

Responsibilities

• The Kitchen Floor: Run your own section hands-on, control flow and assist others when tickets pile up.
• The Standards: Ensure food safety, brand delivery, temperature checks and HACCP/EHO compliance.
• The Brigade: Supervise and coach junior kitchen team members and Kitchen Porters.
• The Commercial Reality: Protect gross profit by managing stock to par levels and minimizing waste.
