Job summary

Village Hotels Swansea is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and CDP to drive your section on a busy service, maintaining our brand standards and supporting the brigade. You will own quality, safety, and throughput while ensuring every plate reflects our expectations.

You will lead by example, coach juniors, and manage stock to parity, aiming for minimal waste and excellent guest experiences on every shift.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Chef de Partie leading your own section with ownership.
• Focus on food safety, temperature checks, and brand delivery (FRESH specs).
• Able to coach junior kitchen staff and Kitchen Porters.

Responsibilities

• The Kitchen Floor: run your section flawlessly while supporting the wider brigade and handling tickets.
• The Standards: ensure HACCP compliance, proper temperature checks, and quality presentation.
• The Brigade: supervise and coach junior staff, translate strategy into action, maintain safety around equipment.
• The Commercial Reality: manage stock to par, minimize waste, and keep stock paperwork up to date.
