Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and Chef de Partie (CDP) to anchor a busy shift in our Warrington kitchen. You will own your section, maintain high quality, temperature, and presentation standards, and support peers when tickets stack up.

You will drive food safety, ensure compliant deliveries, and follow HACCP/EHO directives without compromise. You’ll coach junior cooks and maintain stock accuracy to protect profitability and maintain smooth service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and coaching junior staff.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and EHO directives to ensure compliance.
• Passion for high-quality food and consistent presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead your own section on shift, manage workload, and support the broader brigade.
• Drive food safety and brand standards, ensuring correct temperatures and fresh delivery checks.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members and Kitchen Porters, translating strategy into action.
• Protect gross profit by managing stock, minimizing waste, and keeping stock records up to date.
