Job summary

Village Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader and CDP in Coventry to lead a busy service and own your section, while supporting the wider brigade to ensure quality, temperature and presentation on every plate.

You will drive food safety, brand standards, and effective teamwork, coaching juniors and controlling stock to protect gross profit, with a focus on continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• The Kitchen Floor: Operating as a hands-on Chef de Partie. You will run your own section flawlessly while controlling the wider flow of work and assisting others when tickets pile up.
• The Standards: Driving food safety and brand delivery. Temperature checks, HACCP and EHO directives upheld without compromise.
• The Brigade: Supervising junior kitchen team members and Kitchen Porters, translating strategy into action and ensuring a safe work environment around heavy equipment.
