Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader for the Three Magpies Hotel within the Sizzling Pub & Grill brand. You will support the Head Chef, train the kitchen team, and oversee food preparation and stock control to deliver great meals and keep brand standards. Flexible shifts and progression opportunities are offered.

You will work with a branded menu, mentoring chefs, ensuring health and hygiene compliance, and contributing to a welcoming guest experience across our pub portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and deliver consistent quality.
• Experience training and developing chefs and kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
• Experience with stock management and ordering processes.
• Ability to work with a branded menu and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Drive targets and performance with the team.
• Assist with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
• Lead by example on brand standards and customer service.
