Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC, owner of Ember Inns, is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef and lead a passionate kitchen crew. You will master the branded menu, train chefs, and help deliver great pub dishes with pride.

You’ll work in a community-focused setting with flexible shifts, a strong team culture, and opportunities to grow, including funded qualifications and progression toward Head Chef roles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a busy pub or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to train and inspire chefs and kitchen staff.
• Proven track record of achieving targets with a team.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Support with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
