Job summary

Slim Chickens UK & Europe in Leeds is looking for a Back of House Supervisor to lead the kitchen team and uphold brand standards. You’ll drive consistency in food preparation, coaching staff, and ensure smooth daily operations.

This role requires a passion for high-quality, safe, and timely dishes, with weekend and late shifts. You’ll work alongside the Front of House team to deliver an excellent guest experience in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a kitchen team.
• A passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
• Flexible, availability that includes weekends, late nights and bank holidays – we’re always on the go!

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Managing inventory, monitoring food stock, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies
• Collaborating with the Front of House Supervisor to ensure seamless service
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly to maintain smooth operations
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold our brand’s high standards
• Creating a positive, productive work environment where the kitchen team can thrive
