Slim Chickens Sheffield Meadowhall Shopping Centre is hiring a Back of House Supervisor to oversee all kitchen operations and lead the team in delivering high-quality dishes. You will ensure food safety and collaborate with the Front of House to guarantee seamless service.

We’re looking for proven supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a passion for consistent, great-tasting food. Flexibility for weekends, late nights and bank holidays is essential in our fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen or fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership to guide a kitchen team.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient food prep.
• Mentor, lead and motivate kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and ordering to keep stock at appropriate levels.
• Collaborate with Front of House to ensure seamless service.
• Resolve kitchen issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Support staff training and development to uphold high standards.
• Create a positive, productive kitchen environment.
