Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is seeking a Kitchen Shift Manager to lead a busy kitchen, run shifts and drive high standards of cleanliness, quality and service. You will supervise staff, train colleagues and ensure compliant operations across all duties.

You’ll motivate the team, delegate tasks, and respond to feedback while managing relationships with pub management. A 40-hour week and progression opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communications skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Ability to run shifts unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operation and guide the team to meet SOPs and targets.
• Deliver high standards of cleanliness, quality and service.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and stock control to minimise waste.
