J D Wetherspoon in Wales is seeking a Kitchen Shift Manager to lead a busy team, run shifts unsupervised, and deliver excellent food and service while upholding SOPs and hygiene standards.

You will manage opening/closing, monitor stock and costs, train and develop staff, and ensure compliance with safety and data protection policies. A rewarding progression path through our academy is available.

The role offers a 40-hour week, meals on duty, discounts, and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Have a proof of right to work.
• Have a bank account in your own name.
• Be able to converse in English and to understand training duties.
• Have a fixed place of residence within reasonable travelling distance of your place of work.
• Basic computer literacy.

Aufgaben

• Lead kitchen shifts and motivate the team to meet targets.
• Ensure excellent service and correct food specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and legal workplace.
• Oversee kitchen operations and coach team to high standards.
• Monitor stock, wastage, orders and cost control.
• Coordinate with pub manager on training and staff rota.
• Attend weekly area meetings and action plans.
