Job summary

IKEA Southampton is seeking a motivated team member to help customers plan and design their dream kitchens. You will engage warmly with customers, identify needs, and provide personalised solutions while supporting sales in-store and remotely.

The role involves planning appointments, quoting worktops, and ensuring the showroom is inviting and easy to shop. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities to develop in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Interest in people’s life at home and personalised solutions.
• Experience in a customer oriented business with sales targets and conversions.
• Willingness to learn and use Microsoft Office and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design kitchens for customers in initial and follow-up appointments, providing accurate plans and quotations.
• Engage with customers to identify needs and advise on suitable life-at-home solutions.
• Support sales by keeping the area clean, well presented and easy to shop.
• Respond to customer emails and secure payments in-store and remotely.
• Communicate with customers via email, text and calls from pre-appointment to purchase.
• Support the overall customer shopping experience in the Kitchens Department and assist with product availability and pricing.
