Job summary

IKEA Southampton is seeking Sales Assistants to join a delightful, friendly team. You’ll help customers find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive, well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is welcoming.

Depending on the department, you may share product knowledge, assist purchases, replenish stock, and create inspiring room settings. You’ll contribute to a positive shopping experience for every customer and play a key role in bringing the IKEA experience to life.

IKEA Southampton are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

As a Sales co-worker, you’ll support customers by helping them find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive and well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is always ready to welcome visitors. Depending on the department, this could involve sharing product knowledge, assisting customers with purchases, replenishing stock, creating inspiring room settings, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Whether you’re helping a customer choose products for their kitchen and dining space, organise their home, or find the perfect decorative touches, you’ll play an important role in bringing the IKEA experience to life.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be 4th October


• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.


• 12, 16 and 20 hour contracts including working evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends

• You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
