Job summary

Wickes in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant to guide customers from the showroom through to installation in their homes, turning ideas into practical spaces.

You will listen to customers, offer expert product advice, create inspiring designs with our tools, present options, and manage the full customer journey with care while keeping displays polished and compliant with policies.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused listener who builds trusted relationships.
• Sales driven with consultative selling and target achievement.
• Creative and practical, able to design spaces from ideas.
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Industry aware with knowledge of current design trends.
• Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD or Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Wickes customer journey in-store, virtually, or at a customer’s home.
• Generate leads within the showroom and convert prospects to customers.
• Create inspiring designs using our tools and present/refine ideas with customers.
• Maintain showroom displays and uphold high standards.
• Keep customers updated and communicate progress clearly.
• Comply with company policies including finance, GDPR and health & safety.
