Job summary

Wickes is seeking a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant to guide customers from initial showroom conversation to home visit, helping them design spaces that matter. You’ll provide product advice, use design tools to bring ideas to life, and own the full customer journey from start to finish.

You’ll be a proactive, sales-driven professional with strong listening skills, capable of creating inspiring designs while maintaining showroom standards and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and excellent listener.
• Sales driven with consultative selling experience.
• Creative and practical with space design ability.
• Calm, confident and professional under pressure.
• Organised and proactive with attention to detail.
• Industry-savvy with knowledge of local market.
• Experience with design tools like AutoCAD or Photoshop is a plus; UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Wickes customer journey in-store, virtual, or at home.
• Convert prospects into customers and generate showroom leads.
• Create inspiring designs using our design tools and present ideas.
• Maintain showroom displays and uphold high standards.
• Keep customers updated and communicate progress clearly; stay compliant with policies.
