Job summary

Wickes in Newport is seeking a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant to guide customers from initial showroom discussion through to home installation. You’ll help clients design spaces, discuss budgets, and use design tools to present ideas, delivering a full customer experience.

You’ll work in-store or in customers’ homes, build relationships, generate leads, keep displays up to date, and stay compliant with GDPR and health & safety rules.

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Consultative selling experience with target-driven mindset.
• Creative and practical design mindset to realise client ideas.
• Organised, proactive with attention to detail.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full Wickes customer journey in-store, virtual, or at home.
• Turn prospects into customers by offering best space/budget solutions and generate showroom leads.
• Create inspiring designs using design tools and present/refine ideas with customers.
• Maintain showroom displays and uphold high standards.
• Stay organised, keep customers updated, and communicate progress clearly.
• Adhere to company policies including GDPR and health & safety.
