Job summary

Wickes is seeking a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Consultant to guide customers from the showroom discussion to a home installation, turning ideas into reality.

You’ll deliver inspiring designs using our tools, own the customer journey from first contact to completion, and build trusted relationships while delivering a great service and meeting sales targets. You’ll work in-store or at customers' homes, adapting to their space and budget, with comprehensive training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with strong listening and relationship-building abilities.
• Sales-driven with consultative selling experience and target orientation.
• Creative and practical design mindset with ability to visualise spaces.
• Calm, confident and professional in challenging situations.
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented in managing multiple projects.
• Industry awareness of local market trends and customer needs.
• Experience with design tools is desirable (AutoCAD, Photoshop).
• Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for customer site visits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Wickes customer journey in-store, virtual, or at a customer’s home with consistent care.
• Convert prospects into customers by finding best space- and budget-appropriate solutions and generating showroom leads.
• Create inspiring designs using Wickes design tools and present/refine ideas with customers.
• Maintain showroom standards and displays, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Stay organised and communicate progress clearly with customers throughout the project.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations including finance, GDPR and health & safety.
