Job Vacancy: Kitchen Assistant

Location: The Old Downs Residential Care Home, Castle Hill, Hartley Dartford DA3 7BH

Contracted hours: 40 hours (to include every other weekend free, as applicable).

Work flexibility in accordance with availability and service requirements.

Hourly rate: £12.50

Responsibilities
  • Preparing all foodstuff, as directed by the Head Chef.
  • Assisting executing various kitchen duties such as ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to.
  • Assisting in preparation and serving of all meals, in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with care staff and residents in a polite and person-centred way.
  • Being responsible for understanding health and safety requirements.
