Job summary

Churchill Group in Glasgow (with occasional travel to Edinburgh) seeks a Cleaning Key Account Manager to oversee a team and manage portfolios of commercial contracts. You will be the client’s main contact, ensuring service excellence across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

The role sits within our Scotland & North Cleaning Division, delivering specialist cleaning services for professional workplaces where environment quality impacts wellbeing and productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience managing client portfolios and leading a team.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and contract performance monitoring experience.
• Solid Health & Safety knowledge relevant to cleaning/FM industry.

Responsibilities

Location: Mainly Glasgow and surrounding areas, with a few sites in Edinburgh
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum depending on experience + company car

We’re looking for aCleaning Key Account Managerto oversee a team of Senior Account Managers and Account Managers and their portfolios of commercial contracts in Glasgow and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to Edinburgh.

You’ll be the main point of contact for the client, helping to deliver exceptional service every day. This position sits within our Scotland & North Cleaning Division, with our specialist cleaning service designed for professional workplaces where the look and feel of the environment directly impacts employee wellbeing, productivity, and brand perception.

As Cleaning Key Account Manager you’ll:

• Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Lead and support your team to consistently deliver exceptional service.
• Carry out audits, prepare reports, and deliver projects in collaboration with the senior management team.
• Organise regular meetings with clients to review contract performance and specifications.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve services, drive efficiencies, and add value for clients.

As Cleaning Key Account Manager, you’ll have:

• Strong people management skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail and organisation, with experience working in a client-facing environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to plan ahead, stay calm under pressure, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, and contract performance monitoring.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
