Job summary

Churchill Services is seeking a Cleaning Key Account Manager to oversee a team of Senior and Account Managers across Glasgow and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to Edinburgh. You will be the main client contact, delivering exceptional service and ensuring contract performance and regulatory compliance.

The role sits in our Scotland & North Cleaning Division, focusing on professional workplaces where environment impacts wellbeing, productivity, and brand perception.

Qualifications

Job description

Location: Mainly Glasgow and surrounding areas, with a few sites in Edinburgh
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience + company car

We're looking for a Cleaning Key Account Manager to oversee a team of Senior Account Managers and Account Managers and their portfolios of commercial contracts in Glasgow and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to Edinburgh.

You’ll be the main point of contact for the client, helping to deliver exceptional service every day. This position sits within our Scotland & North Cleaning Division, with our specialist cleaning service designed for professional workplaces where the look and feel of the environment directly impacts employee wellbeing, productivity, and brand perception.

As Cleaning Key Account Manager you'll:

• Maintain excellent client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Lead and support your team to consistently deliver exceptional service.
• Carry out audits, prepare reports, and deliver projects in collaboration with the senior management team.
• Organise regular meetings with clients to review contract performance and specifications.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve services, drive efficiencies, and add value for clients.

As Cleaning Key Account Manager, you'll have:

• Strong people management skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail and organisation, with experience working in a client-facing environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to plan ahead, stay calm under pressure, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, and contract performance monitoring.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
